Operation Christmas Child is an outreach through Samaritan's Purse providing a tangible gift for individuals who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters. disease. and famine. Materials are collected throughout the year, packed in shoeboxes in November, and distributed through local programs to share the message of the Gospel and bless children. In 2021 Lisbon FUMC served as a drop-off location where more than 2000 boxes were collected for distribution.
